Pilates By Dolly offers various training programs throughout the year that focus on a variety of Pilates focused instruction and exercise.
The D. K. Body Balancing Training Programs include training on the history of Joseph Pilates, anatomy, Kinesiology, mat certification and Pilates equipment. It is an introduction to the basic theory and technique developed by Joseph Pilates and is also an introduction to the Alexander and Feldenkrais techniques.
The effectiveness of the D. K. Body Balancing Method has been recognized by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has been acknowledged as part of the University's curriculum. The instructor training programs have been approved by the Nevada and Arizona State Boards of Physical Therapists for 1.5 units of continuing education and are offered in Las Vegas several times per year, as well as in various international locations. The programs are designed to meet the needs of the international fitness industry.
All training programs can be taken in group or private settings and at any of our studio locations or a location of your choice.
Training and certification programs are not limited to the Las Vegas area. Dolly Kelepecz and the Pilates By Dolly team continuously team up with fitness studios and organizations around the country to provide everyone in-depth Pilates training and the opportunity for furthering their fitness-specific education.
The mat training course focuses on the history of Pilates' theory and technique through mat work. The Mat course can be taken on its own or in addition to the studio course portion of the training, which includes training in pilates exercise with Pilates equipment, such as the Trapeze Table, Chair and Reformer.
The equipment training program focuses on the use of the various Pilates equipment, such as trapeze table, chair and reformer. The equipment course can be taken on its own or in addition to the mat portion of the training or can be broken up to focus on only specific pieces of equipment in private sessions, if desired.
The Pilates Golf Method is designed to improve the golfer's game and for the overall fitness of the golfer. Although the Professional Golfer may have a higher fitness level than the recreational golfer; flexibility and strength are essential for both.
Although Pilates is typically known for its fitness benefits in recreational use, it's an ideal cross conditioning program for dancers looking to improve strength, balance, control, flexibility and breathing.
The Pilates Pregnancy Method is designed to offer women a form of exercise that is safe and beneficial before, during, and after pregnancy. This certification will cover the anatomical and physiological changes a woman’s body goes through during pregnancy, and specific exercises that will support a woman through her pregnancy resulting in a calm, strong, and balanced mind and body.
The DK Body Balancing Bridge Program is designed to review and recognize existing training of students who wish to further their education and knowledge. Each student that applies and is accepted into our bridge program will be evaluated and offered a course of study.
The mat and equipment training program is an all inclusive course that focuses on theory and technique through mat work utilizing various props and exercise on the various pieces of Pilates equipment.
The DK Body Balancing Level III training is an extension of the levels I & II mat and equipment training. It is advanced level of theory and technique with an emphasis on Pilates Postural Analysis Rehabilitation techniques.
In addition to the assortment of group and private training certification programs offered, we also offer business consulting for entrepreneurs interested in opening their own Pilates studio. Our staff will consult and direct you through the entire process; from ordering the best equipment and training the staff required to run the facility.
