Core strength, flexibility, body awareness, and injury prevention are essential for developing dancers. Finally, here is a Pilates course focused on the unique physical pressures of ballet and other dance forms. Dancers and dance instructors will learn to incorporate Pilates, Gyrotonics, Body Code, and other useful alternative methods into their personal practice and teaching. As they become stronger and more mindful of their bodies, dancers will encounter fewer injuries and see improved control over movements. Enrollment includes a DVD you can take home.
